Some of the Nations top butchers are set to battle it out in October when they go head to head in a new competition sponsored by Cutting Edge.
Ireland’s only dedicated food manufacturing and meat/butchery trade show, Meat2Trade offers a unique opportunity for agri-food suppliers to showcase their products and services.
The event will combine the very best of meat, artisan butchery and food manufacturing, showcasing the latest products, services and ideas.
The show is delivered by Butchery Excellence International, and will also include the World Butcher’s Challenge, Team Ireland vs Team Iceland and the first Four Nations Butchery Championship on home soil against Scotland, England & Wales.
What is Meat2Trade?
The ‘Meat2Trade’ Show offers a unique opportunity for agri-food suppliers to showcase their products and services to over 3,000 decision makers from the food manufacturing, butchery, food and drink and retail sectors.
Meat2Trade is delivered by Butchery Excellence International and follows on from the success of Meat@IFEX 2018, and Meat the Buyer in 2017, held in Belfast & Monaghan.
The World Butchers’ Challenge attracted over 3,000 visitors to the Meat@IFEX show last year. This year, in addition to the butchery focus, the show has been expanded to appeal to the wider food manufacturing sector. Already we have a varied range of agrifood suppliers signed up to showcase their products, services, technologies and skills to the sector. The event will combine the very best of Meat, Artisan Butchery and Food Manufacturing, and provide a vital showcase of the latest products, services and ideas.
It will offer industry leaders and buyers a ‘one stop shop’ where they can find out about exciting industry developments.
CREATED by the butchery trade organisation, Butchery Excellence International – Meat2Trade is a new trade exhibition which is coming to Lisburn’s Eikon Exhibition Centre in October 2019.
